Writecream’s AI image generator is bundled into its lifetime deal rather than sold separately, and the number of images you get is one of the few limits that actually scales cleanly across tiers: 500 a month at $59, rising to 2,000 a month at $236.
That makes it worth looking at on its own terms, because the per-image cost at the entry tier is low enough to change how you think about blog imagery. This page covers what the generator does, the exact monthly allowance at each tier, where it sits inside the wider Writecream product, and what the listing does not tell you.
The short version
- 500 AI images per month on Plan 1 ($59 one-time), 1,000 on Plan 2, 1,500 on Plan 3, 2,000 on Plan 4.
- The allowance is monthly and recurring, not a one-off block — this is the part people misread.
- Images are a feature of the wider platform, not a standalone tool. You cannot buy image generation alone.
- A separate, distinct feature exists: personalised image icebreakers for cold email, which generate an image built around a specific prospect.
- Writecream’s AppSumo listing now carries a notice that it is partner-managed and not covered by AppSumo’s “We Got Your Back” guarantee. The 60-day refund still applies. Read that before buying.
What the image generator is for
Writecream positions itself as an SEO and content platform, and the image generator exists to solve the problem that comes immediately after you have written an article: it needs pictures. Its own description is direct about the role — produce unique AI visuals so content stands out. Worth reading alongside Google’s guidance on helpful content, which judges the page rather than how the images were made.
Two places in the product use images, and they are worth separating because people conflate them:
1. Images inside generated articles
Writecream’s article generator claims to take a single keyword to a finished 2,000-plus word article “complete with royalty-free images” in under five minutes, with what it calls strategic image placement. So in the article workflow, images arrive automatically rather than being something you go and fetch.
Note the wording carefully: the articles feature mentions royalty-free images, while the standalone generator produces AI visuals. The listing does not make clear whether in-article images are drawn from a stock library, generated by the AI, or either depending on context — and whether they draw down the same monthly image allowance. That matters if you plan on publishing volume, and it is a question for Writecream rather than something I can answer from the listing.
2. Personalised image icebreakers for outreach
This is the more unusual use. Writecream generates hyper-personalised images made for a specific prospect, to be attached to a cold email. It sits alongside personalised audio icebreakers and the LinkedIn icebreaker as part of the outreach side of the platform.
Whether that works is a question about your market, not about the tool. An image built around someone’s own website is harder to ignore than a text intro — and also more obviously automated once a recipient has seen two of them. I have not tested reply rates and would not trust anyone who quotes you a figure without showing their data.
AI images per month, by tier
Here is the published allowance alongside the other limits that move with it, so you can see what you are really paying for when you stack a code:
| Limit | Plan 1 — $59 | Plan 2 — $118 | Plan 3 — $177 | Plan 4 — $236 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Listed regular price | $1,440 | $2,880 | $4,320 | $5,760 |
| AI images per month | 500 | 1,000 | 1,500 | 2,000 |
| AI credits per month | 250 (~500,000 characters) | 500 (~1 million characters) | 1,000 (~2 million characters) | 1,500 (~3 million characters) |
| Team members | 1 | 2 | 5 | 7 |
| Websites for backlink autopilot | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 |
| Golden nugget keywords | N/A | N/A | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Domain analysis per month | 500 | 1,500 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Keyword research reports per month | 500 | 1,500 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| SEO content analysis queries per month | 50 | 100 | 150 | 200 |
Codes stack up to four, at $59 each. A fifth plan at $295 was on sale earlier in October 2026 and is no longer listed, so $236 is now the top of the ladder.

Is 500 images a month actually a lot?
For almost everyone reading this, yes — and that is the honest answer rather than a sales one.
Five hundred images a month is roughly 16 a day. If you publish one article a day with four images in it, you use 120 a month and have 380 spare. A site publishing four articles a day with five images each uses 600 and would need Plan 2.
Which leads to a point worth being blunt about: the image allowance is unlikely to be the reason you upgrade. Look at the table again. The limits that bite first are AI credits (250 a month on Plan 1, about 500,000 characters) and SEO content analysis queries (50 a month). If you are generating long articles, you will hit the credit ceiling long before you run out of images.
So if you are weighing Plan 1 against Plan 2 and telling yourself it is about images, it probably is not. It is about credits.
The tier-3 cliff
One thing the image row hides, and it is the most important line in that table for anyone buying Writecream for SEO rather than for pictures: golden nugget keywords show N/A on Plans 1 and 2. Not a lower number — absent.
Domain analysis and keyword research reports also go from capped to unlimited at Plan 3. So the real shape of this deal is not a smooth ramp. Plans 1 and 2 are a content and image generator with some keyword research attached. Plan 3 is where the SEO half of the product actually switches on.
If the SEO features are why you are interested, $177 is your entry price, not $59. Better to know that now than after redeeming one code.
What else comes with every plan
These are listed as included at all tiers:
- Landing pages and content templates
- Google and Facebook ad copy
- Support for 75-plus languages
- Social media and YouTube ideas
- Blog articles
- Personalised backlink outreach
- Personalised LinkedIn outreach
- Cold email generation
- CSV import and export
- Access to 40-plus tools and all upcoming features
The platform also includes an AI humanizer and what it calls the Lexi AI Agent, which the listing describes as analysing top search results, generating content with image placement, running real-time SEO analysis against more than 50 ranking factors, and finding backlink opportunities.
Two things to read before buying
The guarantee is not the usual one
Writecream’s listing carries this notice: no “We Got Your Back” guarantee, because the listing is managed by the partner who built the product and AppSumo has not vetted it. The 60-day refund window from your purchase date still applies.
In practice that means your protection is the refund period rather than AppSumo’s own vetting. Most buyers never need either. It is still a material difference from a standard AppSumo deal and I would rather you heard it here than discovered it later.
The deal has changed names and prices
The listing now runs as “Writecream — Your SEO Agent” at $59 for Plan 1, where earlier versions of this deal were structured and priced differently. If you are comparing against a review written months ago, including an older version of ours, check the live tiers rather than trusting the figures. That applies to this page too, which is why the table above is dated.
What I could not verify
- Whether in-article images draw from the monthly AI image allowance. The article feature mentions royalty-free images; the generator produces AI visuals. The listing does not connect the two.
- Which image model is used, or the output resolution. Not stated.
- Commercial usage rights on generated images. “Royalty-free” is used for in-article images; the terms for AI-generated output are not spelled out on the listing. If you are publishing commercially, ask.
- What the withdrawn fifth plan raised. It sold at $295 earlier in October 2026 with no feature column published, and is no longer listed.
- Writecream’s regular subscription pricing. The $1,440 anchor is the vendor’s. I found a wide spread of figures quoted on third-party sites and will not repeat any of them as fact.
- Image quality. I have not generated images with it. Quality is the one thing a listing can never tell you, and the 60-day refund window exists precisely so you can find out for yourself.
Frequently asked questions
How many images does Writecream generate per month?
500 on Plan 1 ($59), 1,000 on Plan 2 ($118), 1,500 on Plan 3 ($177) and 2,000 on Plan 4 ($236). The allowance resets monthly.
Can I buy the image generator on its own?
No. It is one feature of the Writecream platform and comes with whichever plan you buy.
Is the image allowance monthly or lifetime?
Monthly. The listing labels it “AI images per month”, so it refreshes rather than being a one-time block. This is the opposite of how some lifetime deals structure their allowances, so it is worth reading the label on any deal you compare it against.
Is Writecream free?
Writecream has historically offered a free tier on its own website, but the AppSumo deal is a paid one-time purchase starting at $59. For current free-plan limits, check writecream.com directly — I was not able to confirm them to a standard I would publish.
Which plan should I buy for images specifically?
Plan 1. Five hundred images a month covers a publishing schedule of several articles a day, and you will almost certainly hit the AI credit limit before the image limit. Upgrade for credits or for the SEO features, not for images.
Verdict
Treated as a reason to buy Writecream, the image generator is a weak argument: 500 a month is generous, but it is generous at every tier, so it never becomes the deciding factor. Treated as something you get alongside the content and SEO tooling, it removes a genuine recurring cost — most people publishing regularly are paying for stock images or a separate image tool.
Buy Plan 1 at $59 if you want a content generator with images thrown in and you can live within 250 AI credits a month. Buy Plan 3 at $177 if the SEO side — golden nugget keywords, unlimited domain analysis, unlimited keyword reports — is what you actually came for, because those do not exist below it.
Check the current Writecream tiers and limits on AppSumo before buying — the deal structure has changed once already.

How this was researched: every figure above comes from the Writecream AppSumo listing and its published deal terms, read in October 2026. This is desk research against primary sources, not hands-on testing — I have not generated images with Writecream and make no claim about output quality. Where the listing was silent or contradictory, I have said so rather than guessing. See our review methodology and editorial policy.
