TidyCal AppSumo Deal 2026: Should You Buy $29 or $79?

The TidyCal AppSumo deal is $29 for the Individual licence or $79 for Agency, both one-time, both refundable for 60 days, and both sold only on AppSumo. TidyCal is an AppSumo Original, so this is the vendor’s own channel rather than a third-party promotion that might vanish.

Most write-ups of this deal get two things wrong, and both change which plan you should buy. This page fixes them.

The short version

  • The only difference between $29 and $79 is team features: four seats, a team page, collective meetings, round-robin, and ten SMS reminders a month.
  • Zoom, Google Meet and Teams links are included at $29, according to TidyCal’s own pricing table — even though the AppSumo listing implies otherwise. Verify it in-app before the refund window closes.
  • Neither licence removes the 1% platform fee on paid bookings. Only the $12-a-month Pro plan does.
  • Above roughly $8,900 a year in paid bookings, the $99-a-year subscription costs less than the lifetime licence.
  • SMS reminders cover U.S. and Canadian numbers only, at either tier.
  • Lifetime plans do not exist on tidycal.com. If AppSumo retires the listing, new buyers lose the option.

Read it as one sentence: if you work alone, the $79 licence buys you nothing you can use. Round-robin needs people to rotate between, a team page needs a team, and SMS only reaches North American numbers. Pay $29 and stop.

If you have colleagues taking bookings, $79 is the only licence that works at all, because the Individual tier allows zero team members.

The contradiction worth knowing about

The AppSumo listing’s feature table shows Integrations: Basic (Google, Office 365, iCal) for the $29 licence and Advanced (All Basic plus Zoom and Teams) for $79. Read plainly, that says you need $79 for Zoom.

TidyCal’s own pricing page disagrees on both relevant rows. Auto-Create Meeting URLs — automatically generate Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams meeting links is ticked for Individual Lifetime, Agency Lifetime and Pro, and crossed only for Free. The integrations row reads Basic for Free and Advanced for all three paid plans.

Same company, two pages, different answers. We follow the product’s own live pricing table, which is the more detailed and more frequently updated of the two. But if conferencing links are your reason for buying, treat this as unresolved until you have seen it in your own account — you have 60 days to check.

The 1% fee the lifetime deal does not remove

This is the finding that should change how you read every other article about this deal. TidyCal charges a 1% platform fee on payments processed through Stripe, on top of Stripe’s own processing fees. Its pricing table shows that fee as 1% for Free, 1% for Individual Lifetime, 1% for Agency Lifetime, and None for Pro.

A lifetime licence is normally the end of paying. Here it is not, if you take money through the tool.

$25,000$779$297Pro
Arithmetic on TidyCal’s published prices and its 1% platform fee. Stripe’s own fees are excluded because every plan pays them.

Pro also removes the branding entirely, adds a custom domain, lifts the calendar cap to unlimited and gives unlimited SMS. So above the break-even point you are not just paying less — you are getting more. Below it, the licence wins comfortably and the fee is noise.

If you take no payments through TidyCal at all, ignore this section. The $29 licence is simply the cheapest tool of its kind.

Line chart showing the three-year cost of a $29 TidyCal lifetime licence plus its 1% platform fee crosses above the $99-a-year Pro plan at about $8,900 of paid bookings per year
Above roughly $8,900 a year in paid bookings, the subscription beats the lifetime licence.

How fast $29 and $79 pay back

Instead of paying…Per year$29 pays back in$79 pays back in
TidyCal Pro, yearly$993.5 months9.6 months
TidyCal Pro, monthly$1442.4 months6.6 months
Calendly Standard, one seat$1202.9 months7.9 months
Calendly Teams, four seats$768—1.2 months
Payback = licence price divided by the monthly cost of the alternative. Prices read October 2026.

Four Calendly Teams seats cost $64 a month. The $79 Agency licence covers four people once. That is the single strongest argument for this deal, and it only applies if you genuinely have four people.

What you get on either licence

Both lifetime tiers include, per TidyCal’s pricing table:

  • Unlimited bookings and unlimited booking types.
  • Ten connected calendars, with per-booking-type calendar selection.
  • Auto-created Zoom, Google Meet and Teams links.
  • Group bookings, recurring bookings and package bookings.
  • Paid bookings through Stripe and PayPal, plus packages, subscriptions and discount codes.
  • A digital storefront for selling PDFs, courses and templates alongside bookings.
  • Booking limits, manual approvals, reschedule restrictions, and cancellation and no-show controls.
  • Custom emails, CC addresses and a custom reply-to address.
  • Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, booking-type stats and CSV export.
  • API access, AI features, ratings and reviews, guest invites and translation.
  • Reduced TidyCal branding.

That is a lot for $29, and it is the reason this deal has accumulated 933 reviews. The limits are narrow and specific: no team seats, no SMS, no custom domain, branding reduced rather than removed, and the 1% fee.

Should you buy it?

  • Buy $29 if you work alone and take under about $8,900 a year through the tool.
  • Buy $79 if you need up to four people on the account, a team booking page or round-robin. Buy it for the seats, not the integrations.
  • Buy Pro instead if you take serious payment volume, or need the branding gone and a custom domain.
  • Stay free if your calls are unpaid, one calendar is enough and you can paste a meeting link yourself.

The 60-day refund window is the thing to use. Connect your calendars, run a handful of real bookings, confirm the video integration behaves the way the pricing table says, and decide with evidence rather than with a listing page.

Frequently asked questions

How much is the TidyCal AppSumo deal?

$29 for the Individual licence and $79 for Agency, both one-time payments with lifetime access and a 60-day refund window. There is no renewal and no stacking of multiple codes.

Is the $29 TidyCal deal worth it?

For a solo user, yes. It includes meeting-link generation, API access, group bookings, analytics and ten calendars. The two things to check first are whether you need team seats, which it has none of, and whether you take enough in paid bookings for the 1% fee to outweigh the saving.

Does the AppSumo TidyCal deal include Zoom?

TidyCal’s own pricing table ticks auto-created Zoom, Meet and Teams links for both lifetime licences. The AppSumo listing describes the $29 tier as Basic integrations, which reads as a no. Verify it in your account during the 60-day window.

Can I stack TidyCal codes?

No. These are two separate licences, Individual and Agency, not a stackable ladder. You pick one.

Does the lifetime deal remove the platform fee?

No. The 1% fee on paid bookings applies to the free plan and to both lifetime licences. Only the Pro subscription removes it.

Will the TidyCal AppSumo deal expire?

It is not a limited-time launch — TidyCal is an AppSumo Original and this is its permanent lifetime channel. But lifetime pricing exists nowhere else, so if the listing is ever retired the option goes with it for new buyers.
