Quick answer: Subscribr is an AI tool for planning and writing YouTube scripts. Its AppSumo lifetime deal runs from $79 to $459 across four listed tiers, with a 60-day refund window. Tier 1 lists zero script-writing credits a month, so the cheapest tier reads as an ideation and research plan.
Subscribr turns video ideas into scripts written in your channel voice. The AppSumo listing shows 164 reviews at 4.8 and 5,406 buyers, so this is an established deal. We have not tested Subscribr. The details come from the AppSumo listing, read on 29 October 2026.

What the four Subscribr tiers include
| Tier | Price | Script credits a month | Ideation chats a month | Channels | Users | Thumbnails a month | Video credits |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tier 1 | $79 | 0 | 200 | 1 | 1 | 0 | 0 |
| Tier 2 | $129 | 20 | Unlimited | 1 | 1 | 0 | 0 |
| Tier 3 | $269 | 60 | Unlimited | 2 | 2 | 15 | 10 |
| Tier 4 | $459 | 180 | Unlimited | 5 | 10 | 45 | 20 |
Add research is capped at 50,000 words on Tiers 1 and 2 and 75,000 words on Tiers 3 and 4. The listing says there are 7 plans but shows four, and one buyer review mentions a Tier 5 at about $800, so the table above is the part of the ladder the page displays.
Every tier is lifetime access with a refund window of up to 60 days. The company was founded in January 2023 in New Orleans, has one to ten staff and is bootstrapped, according to the listing. When we read it, the deal countdown showed about six days left.
Tier 1 lists no script-writing credits
The row labelled script writing credits reads 0 for Tier 1, then 20, 60 and 180. Tier 1 does list 200 ideation chat generations, which fits a plan for validating video ideas. The feature rows for outlines, long-form scripts and channel voice show checkmarks that did not appear in the page text we read, so we cannot say which tier carries which feature.
A buyer weighing $79 should ask in the listing’s Questions tab what Tier 1 can generate, and how an ideation generation differs from a script credit. The listing does not define either unit.

| Tier | Price | Price per monthly script credit | Price per channel |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tier 1 | $79 | Not available | $79.00 |
| Tier 2 | $129 | $6.45 | $129.00 |
| Tier 3 | $269 | $4.48 | $134.50 |
| Tier 4 | $459 | $2.55 | $91.80 |
This is arithmetic on the listing figures. It ignores thumbnails and video credits, and a script credit may not equal one finished script. Tier 4 is cheapest per credit and per channel, but only a creator who would use 180 credits a month gets that value.
Video generation is paid for separately
The founders posted about Subscribr 4.0 on the listing. It adds a thumbnail studio and video generation, and they say AppSumo plans get triple the monthly thumbnail generations. Video generation uses its own credits because rendering video costs money per minute. The plan table lists 0, 0, 10 and 20 video credits, and the founders say AppSumo buyers can add video credits when they need them.
The same post says the vendor’s own Creator, Automation and Scale plans are being replaced by Growth, Pro and Max, and that lifetime licenses keep what was bought. The listing does not say what one video credit produces. The founders link a breakdown on their own site, which we did not read.
What buyers say about Subscribr
Of 164 reviews, 150 give five tacos, the rating unit AppSumo uses. One verified buyer compared Subscribr with Poppy AI in July 2026 and said Subscribr gave scripts closer to their voice once they prompted well, though the linear chat workflow needed more effort. Another buyer said Tier 2 felt adequate for light use and Tier 3 made it more useful, and that good prompts changed the output more than the tier did.
The same July review warns that lifetime buyers have little recourse if a vendor exits. That risk applies to every lifetime deal. Our guide to how SaaS lifetime deals work explains why vendors sell them and what buyers carry.
Which tier fits which channel
A creator with one channel who publishes weekly has the clearest fit with Tier 2, which adds 20 script credits and unlimited ideation chats. Tier 3 suits two channels and adds thumbnails and video credits. Tier 4 is built for five channels and ten users, which makes it an agency tier. Tier 1 only makes sense after the seller confirms what it can write.
The listing names TubeBuddy and vidIQ as alternatives. We did not check either vendor’s current price, so compare using our break-even method.
Subscribr lifetime deal questions
Is the Subscribr AppSumo deal a lifetime license?
Yes. AppSumo lists lifetime access from $79, refundable up to 60 days under its We Got Your Back guarantee. The listing showed a countdown of about six days when we read it on 29 October 2026, so check the current listing before you decide.
Does Subscribr Tier 1 include script credits?
The tier table lists 0 script-writing credits a month for Tier 1, against 20, 60 and 180 on Tiers 2 to 4. Tier 1 does list 200 ideation chat generations. Ask in the listing’s Questions tab what Tier 1 can generate before you buy.
Are video credits included in the Subscribr deal?
Video credits are listed as 0 on Tiers 1 and 2, 10 on Tier 3 and 20 on Tier 4. The founders say video generation uses its own credits, and AppSumo buyers can add more when needed. The listing does not define what one credit produces.
How many channels does each Subscribr tier cover?
Tiers 1 and 2 cover one channel, Tier 3 covers two and Tier 4 covers five. Users scale as one, one, two and ten. A reviewer mentions a Tier 5 with unlimited channels, but the plan table we read shows only four tiers.
Bottom line
Subscribr is a well-reviewed, established deal, and its value improves up the ladder: $2.55 per monthly script credit on Tier 4 against $6.45 on Tier 2. The open question is Tier 1, which lists no script credits. Confirm that with the seller, test a real script inside the 60-day refund window, and size the tier to the scripts you will actually write.
